The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:

Kim Alley – Sadly passed away surrounded by his children on Monday 9th May 2022 aged 65. A loving Husband to Frankie, Dad to Kerrie, Dean & Leigh, Grandad to Oscar, Phoebe, Hugo & Henry, Brother, Uncle & Friend. A true Gentleman who always put others first, he was loved and cherished by so many, Kim brought joy to us all, he is now at peace & will be deeply missed.

CLARK Leslie William Les – Les sadly passed away 15th May 2022, aged 89 years. Now reunited with his late wife Beryl. A much loved Dad, Pops and Grandad. Les will be missed by all his family and friends.

CROOK Jean – Sadly passed away 8th May 2022 aged 82 years. Now reunited with her late Husband Brian. A beloved Mum and Nanny. Jean will be missed by all her family and friends.

CURTIS Susan Margaret – Wife to Paul, Mother to Christopher and Sarah, Grandmother to Edward, Henry and Constance. You’ve left a gap that can never be filled.

GRANGER Andrew William – Nov 19th 1955 – May 10th 2022 – Andrew valiantly fought a battle with cancer that he could not win. He was predeceased by his mother Violet, father Harold, leaves behind brothers Rod (Muriel), Stephen (Julie), sister Marion (Steve), numerous cousins, nieces, nephews in the UK and Canada, best friend Gary Levy and family, and many other friends whose paths crossed his life. A warm kind and generous man, Andrew was well loved. As a young man he travelled extensively in Asia from India to Australia. An accomplished tradesman, gardener, walker of many trails and lover of authentic pubs with real ale. In later life he moved to Devon to spend his retirement near the coast. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all the staff who cared for him at Torbay Hospital, Rowcroft Hospice, Hill House Nursing Home.

MANNALL Philip James – Sadly passed away on Thursday 5th May 2022 aged 74 years. Much loved husband, father, father-in-law and a very special grandad. He will be forever in our hearts.

MANNING Geoffrey Anthony (Known as Tony) – Passed away on Monday 25th April 2022 aged 90 years. Reunited with his beloved Wife Elizabeth. A much loved Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

O’RIORDAN Timothy Joseph ‘Dano’ – Passed away peacefully on Monday 9th May 2022, aged 89. Husband of Freda. Much loved Dad, Grandad, Great-Grandad, Uncle, Great-Uncle, Brother, Friend and Neighbour.

PETER BURNS THOMSON – 30th September 1949 – 22nd April 2022 – Sadly passed away, aged 72 years, after a long illness bravely borne. A devoted Husband to Margaret.
