A car that was stolen from Ireland was found in Rickmansworth after a search.
Police arrested a man in his 30s after they stopped a vehicle of interest in Uxbridge Road, Rickmansworth, on May 17.
The car was found to be on false plates and was seized along with a mobile phone.
While he has been released under investigation, a sweep was carried out at The Orchards in Chalfont Lane on May 19.
Two cars were found, one stolen from Ireland and another from Hemel Hempstead.
It’s unclear how the car from Ireland ended up locally, and police were contacted for further information.
However, the force is working alongside the Garda to progress the investigation.
