Motorists in Watford should be aware of four road closures taking place on the M1.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• From 9.30am May 19 to 4pm May 25: slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1, junction 6 to junction 5 southbound, hard shoulder closure for testing works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:
• From 10pm May 26 to 5am May 27: slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 4 to junction 6, lane closures for safety fence works.
• From 11pm May 27 to 5am May 28: slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 6a to junction 5, lane closures for safety fence works.
• From 10pm May 31 to 5.30am June 1: slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 6 to junction 5, lane closure for testing works.
