The London Northwestern Railway has explained why there are fewer weekday peak time services between Watford Junction and London Euston.
West Midlands Trains, that operates both West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway services, made the changes that came into effect yesterday (May 15).
This will reduce the number of peak time trains from both Watford Junction and Bushey, with some readers questioning the new timetable.
According to the rail company, the reduction is a result of changes to the Southern timetables, which has reduced platform availability at Watford Junction.

A London Northwestern Railway spokesperson said: “Due to changes by other operators impacting on available platform space, from next week fewer peak-time services to London Euston from Watford Junction and Bushey will run. Passengers are asked to plan ahead.
“All timetable changes are carefully planned and kept under close review in consultation with the Department for Transport to ensure railway capacity is matched to customer demand.”
