All of the results have come in at the council elections in Watford and it has been a good day for the Liberal Democrats.
Peter Taylor was victorious in the mayoral election, extending his term for another four years.
Mr Taylor picked up 12,895 votes with Labour coming in second with 6,284 votes and the Tories in third with 4,404 votes.
Twelve council seats in the town's 12 wards have also been decided.
The Liberal Democrats increased their majority by three, gaining a seat from Labour in Leggatts, and seats in Oxhey and Stanborough from Independent councillors.
The seats in Oxhey and Stanborough had been held by the Lib Dems until two defections last year.
Meanwhile, in the Three Rivers District, the Liberal Democrats held onto eight seats but lost one of their seats - Dickinsons Ward - to The Green Party.
The Conservatives held on to four seats and Labour kept its hold in South Oxhey.
