A man has been sentenced after carrying a knuckle duster in public.
Florin Bulgaru, 23, of Cardiff Road in Watford, appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on April 18 after carrying the weapon.
The court heard how Bulgaru was seen with the knuckle duster at Ducks Hill Road, Ruislip, on June 5 last year.
Bulgaru also failed to surrender to custody at Ealing Magistrates’ Court after being released on bail in criminal proceedings on June 6 that year.
He pleaded guilty to both charges.
As a result, Bulgaru was told to pay £680 as part of a fine, to fund victim services and to cover Crown Prosecution Service costs.
