A huge crane can be seen for miles - which means a development of tower blocks will also be visible once completed.
The machinery standing high over a building site in St Albans Road near Watford Junction can be seen across Watford and from the likes of Bushey.
Eventually, The Eight Gardens will consist of 1,214 homes in 11 blocks including some of 28, 24, and 22 floors that will dominate the town's skyline.
Residents who can spot the crane from their windows have been given a firm reminder of how their view is likely to change over the next few years.
We've rounded up a list of spots where the crane is visible as well as revisited prominent sites in the Watford area that developer Berkeley Homes has accepted its towers will be seen from once constructed.
Some include CGIs of the towers inserted while others show the outline of the buildings in red.
You can take a look at those sites by scrolling through the picture gallery at the top of the article.
