A man has been given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order with numerous conditions after being caught with indecent images of a child.
Pele Young, of Winthrop Walk in Wembley, was caught with images and a video of a child in Watford in February 2020.
The 35-year-old pleaded guilty and last week was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates’ Court – where he was handed a five-year order.
As part of it he has been banned from schools and youth clubs and must comply if asked to do a polygraph test, which is often used as lie detector.
Other conditions mean Young must not:
- Invite any female under 18 into his car unless accompanied by an appropriate adult.
- Have unsupervised contact with any female under 18
- Stay overnight in the same premises as any female under 18 without an appropriate adult’s consent who has knowledge of the order
- Use mobiles or other devices capable of internet connection without risk management software
- Not undertake any work or organised activity involving a person under 18 without prior approval
Young was also ordered to pay £85 costs, a £95 victim services surcharge, and is required to register with police for five years.
