A man who was caught carrying a knife in Watford town centre has been jailed.
Dinusha Don, of Pumphouse Crescent, Watford, was carrying a lock knife that was around three or four inches at the Parade.
St Albans Magistrates’ Court heard that the 21-year-old was caught with the knife on August 28, 2021.
He pleaded guilty to carrying the blade on March 7 this year.
On April 11, he was sent to jail for 18 weeks, after not complying with previous court orders and being involved with two previous weapon offences.
Don was also made to pay a total of £213 to fund victim services and the Crown Prosecution Service.
