Argos' main store in Watford has permanently closed.
The unit at Waterfield Shopping Park shut its doors to customers for the final time this week.
The listing for the store has disappeared from the retailer's website.
Although this store has shut, Argos has just opened a small branch within Sainsbury's supermarket in the town centre.
Argos also has a similar type branch at the Sainsbury's at the Dome Roundabout.
Argos is a catalogue retailer operating in the UK and Ireland that was acquired by Sainsbury's supermarket chain in 2016.
In late 2020, it was announced that the 420 standalone UK Argos stores would close by March 2024, although owner Sainsbury's said it would open 150 Argos outlets within its supermarkets.
It is unknown at this time whether there is any retailer lined up to move into the space vacated by Argos at Waterfields.
