- However two lanes still remain closed between junctions 24 and 25 as the clean-up operation continues
- The M25 was closed clockwise between junction 23 for the A1 and 25 for Enfield from around 11am on Tuesday until around 11.30am on Wednesday
- Motorway bosses have defended the decision to keep the M25 closed for so long describing the clean-up as "complex"
- There are still queues clockwise between junctions 23 and 25 because of the lane closures and drivers should leave extra time to travel
