Motorists wishing to apply for a parking permit have been unable to access the official website this morning.

Paysmarti, the service which councils rely on for people to send in resident permit applications, has been down since this morning.

Watford Borough Council redirects anyone needing the service to the Paysmarti portal.

But anyone needing the website has been met with a blank screen today.

According to downforeveryoneorjustme.com – which alerts users whether others cannot access a site – permits.paysmarti.co.uk has been down all day.

It is unclear for now when the website will be back up.
