Anyone looking to enjoy a pint during the Easter weekend will be glad to know pubs are looking to extend their opening hours.
Three pubs in Watford put in licensing applications last week to extend when it can sell alcohol during Easter.
This includes Dunnings Bar at St Albans Road, which hopes to operate additional hours between 11pm to 2am between Thursday that week (April 14) to Saturday (April 16).
Normally the bar shuts at 12am on Thursdays and 1am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Walkabout at the Parade requested to provide drinks between 1am to 2am on April 15.
The Moon Under Water has also asked the council to sell alcohol between 11pm to 1am on Easter Sunday (April 17).
Traditionally on Sundays, the Wetherspoons pub shuts at 11pm.
As of March 25, the applications have not been approved just yet.
