A woman is due to appear in court after being accused of stalking David Beckham and his family.
Sharon Bell, of Boundary Way, Watford, was already hit with a court order but is now facing further action.
Bell, 58, has been accused of harassing the former footballer through letters and attempts to make contact, which the Met Police says dates back to 2016.
According to The Sun, Bell has even turned up at the school of Beckham's daughter Harper, and she is also said to have visited the Beckham's home in west London.
In December 2021, Bell was given a five-month stalking protection order by Westminster Magistrates' Court which banned her from contacting any member of the Beckham family or coming within 500 metres of a UK address or Harper's school.
According to the criminal charge now brought against her, Bell is accused of "pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of David Beckham".
The Met's charge states: "You attended this address. On October 6, 2021, he received a letter from you at his London address, and on November 18, 2021 you attended Mr Beckham’s daughter’s school address and attempted to see her."
Bell is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court to face the charge on Monday (March 28).
