Details of other jobs attended by fire crews yesterday in the Watford area were also revealed on Twitter.
An hour before the incident in Oxhey, a crew were called to the ring road in the town centre after reports of a small fire.
Firefighters said they discovered a small amount of refuse on fire on steel gates and it was put out using a hosereel.
Later in the night, a Garston crew were mobilised to a report of a small vehicle fire in Weall Green on the Leavesden Green estate.
However, it was deemed to be a false alarm but the fire service said the caller, who rang in at around 1.15am, had "good intent".
