A woman had hundreds of pounds taken from her account after a man stole her bank card in Rickmansworth.
The victim in her sixties was using a cash machine inside Church Street's Barclays when she was approached and distracted by a man.
During this time he stole her card and later used it to withdraw several hundred pounds at another machine before it was cancelled.
Following the theft on February 17, between 12.15pm and 12.45pm, police today (March 22) released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
PC Kieran Llewellyn said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in this image. He was in the area at the time of the incident and could help us with our enquiries.
“I appreciate the man is wearing a face covering in the image, however someone may recognise him from his clothing and build and help us to identify him.”
Information can be emailed to Kieran.Llewellyn@herts.police.uk or reported via 101 quoting reference 41/13553/22.
