A man drove a car at police before escaping after officers recovered two stolen vehicles and arrested a teenager.
Officers were called to reports that a Land Rover had been stolen from Radlett Railway Station's car park at 5.36pm yesterday (Monday, March 14).
They soon found it in Edgewarebury Lane in Borehamwood, alongside a second vehicle that was also thought to be stolen, which contained two men.
A Herts Police spokesperson said one of them fled during the incident – during which the vehicle was driven at a police car – while a 17-year-old from Edgware was arrested.
A helicopter and dog unit were used to try and find the second man but he escaped.
Detective Sergeant Colin Knowles said: “Our enquiries into this incident continue and we are actively looking to identify the second man.
“I’d urge anyone who may have seen the theft take place at the railway station, or saw the man running from the scene, to please make contact.”
