Children across the area had a fantastic time dressing up as their favourite characters to celebrate World Book Day – and many of them will feature in our special supplement out tomorrow.

The Watford Observer has produced an eight-page special capturing more than 50 pictures of children in schools enjoying the annual celebration of reading and books which took place on Thursday.

The supplement features eight schools from Watford, Bushey, Rickmansworth, South Oxhey, Park Street and St Albans. These are:

  • Cherry Tree Primary School, Watford
  • Highwood Primary School, Bushey

  • Warren Dell Primary School, South Oxhey
