I have to confess I have never seen the Disney stage and film production of The Lion King.
Having spent several years studying, with considerable difficulty, political philosophy, I clearly have wasted my time. According to our amoral Prime Minister the answers to life’s problems lay with the quotes embedded in such philosophical works as detailed in The Lion King, Peppa Pig World and Kermit the Frog. Talk the language of many people to gain their support is something Johnson knows well.
Such advice, according to many political commentators and politicians is coming from a narcissist, a misogynist, liar and fantasist, hell bent on holding onto power, whatever the cost.
Our political life is at a very low and depressing level. Many people will simply stand by their belief systems no matter their questionable veracity.
With the ever mounting criticism of Boris Johnson an older woman was recently interviewed on television, in the north of the country, and she said she knew Johnson was a rogue but she liked and supported him.
Truth and justice mean little to many people; they will maintain their fantasies and lack of reality in thought, no matter what is happening around them.
