The headteacher of a primary school in Watford has said she is “delighted and proud” as it retained a ‘good’ status.
Bromet Primary School in Oxhey Road was inspected by Ofsted on January 12 and 13 this year.
A report published by the education watchdog said pupils are “thoughtful and kind” and “experience a curriculum that extends their thinking and nurtures their curiosity”.
It added: “Pupils are welcoming, friendly and polite. They are respectful towards each other and towards adults. Relationships between staff and pupils are very positive.
“Pupils know that staff are there to help them if they have any concerns.
“Pupils said that they are happy and feel safe in school.”
Headteacher Maria Pace praised the “commitment to developing all aspects of our children’s education” that led to the school maintaining a ‘good’ outcome.
She added: "We are delighted and proud of this achievement.
"This Ofsted judgement is a public recognition of the hard work and dedication of Bromet pupils, staff, parents and wider school community.”
