A pub in Watford town centre has closed down for good.
Bosleys, a popular pub and restaurant located at the Parade in Watford, has boarded up the venue and removed its large fluorescent sign from the building.
The Stonegate Group, which runs Bosleys, has yet to issue an official statement regarding its closure, but it is understood that the venue has permanently closed.
Staff inside the venue has confirmed to the Observer that that the venue has closed and traces of its social media presence has already been wiped.
For now it is unclear why Bosleys has shut and when the official closing date was, but further comment from Stonegate is expected soon.
It is known that the venue was open just weeks ago, and that the closure was somewhat recent.
More updates to follow.
