A teenage boy has been sentenced after he was found with a knife at a public road.
The boy, 17, from Watford, was found possessing a kitchen knife at Oakdale Road - a short distance from Oxhey Wood Primary School and St Joseph’s Catholic Church - on October 12, 2021.
He appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to carrying the knife on February 23 this year.
He was referred to South Herts YOT youth offender panel for three months, while also being told to pay a total of £107 to fund the Crown Prosecution Service and victim services.
