A large van got stuck in Woodmere Avenue before its back door was ripped off during a doomed attempt to get through.
The latest video – branded “the best one so far” – was posted on social media today (Thursday) sparking a mixture of laughter and dismay.
At first the van is seen getting stuck and causing what looks like a side panel to fall off.
It is then seen backing up slightly – as if to make space to gain momentum – before it accelerates forward through the bollards.
But as it breaks free the large back door is ripped off and clatters onto the road behind it.
It comes after two other videos surfaced last week showing one motorist attempt to zoom through at full speed while another blew its front tyre.
Cameras are set to replace the restriction in 2023 to deter big vehicles from using the street.
But after campaigners claimed that was too long Herts County Council recently said it would consult residents over potentially removing it earlier.
