The headteacher at a primary school has praised the “hard work and dedication” that has lead to the school maintaining a ‘good’ status.
Oxhey Wood Primary School was inspected by Ofsted on January 12 and 13 this year, as inspectors noted pupils enjoyed school life and there were “rarely unkind” students.
Inspectors were told “everyone is welcome” and reported that a “everyone is included and valued” in the school community.
The report read: "Pupils know that staff have high expectations of how they should behave. Pupils listen to teachers and enjoy their work. There are many rewards and prizes for pupils who consistently demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviour."
Headteacher Jenny Morley said: "We are so proud of our school community!
"This Ofsted judgement is a public endorsement of the hard work and dedication of the Oxhey Wood pupils, staff, parents and wider school community.
“We are delighted that the quality of education, inclusive environment and range of learning opportunities on offer to all children at Oxhey Wood has been recognised."
