Steam train enthusiasts got the chance to see the Flying Scotsman locomotive as it passed through our area.
The famous train departed Castleton Hopwood in north west England just after 9am on Thursday and made its way to Hertfordshire in the late afternoon.
It arrived in the county around 4.47pm, passing through Tring.
The train then went onto Berkhamsted before arriving at Hemel Hempstead at 4.55pm.
Apsley and Kings Langley were next on the line, with the locomotive reaching Watford Junction at 5.02pm and Bushey station a minute later.
Some readers posted stunning photos of the train passing through South West Hertfordshire – Iain Nibbsy captured a great close up shot of the Flying Scotsman passing through Kings Langley.
Below you can see other photos taken by readers as it passed through our area yesterday.
