A popular Indian street food chain will be coming to Watford soon.
Chaiiwala - a café that offers Indian beverages, an all day Indian breakfast and different bits of street food – is eyeing up Watford for one of its new stores.
Just before the start of 2021, the franchise said that growth in demand for delivery services during the pandemic has pushed forward its growth plans, and there has since been efforts to introduce many new branches across the UK.
At the moment there are currently 50 branches open, with eight more still in the works to open.
Watford remains listed as one of the upcoming locations, but there is no specification on when and where this will launch.

There is speculation this could replace the former Gourmet Burger Kitchen site at Unit 117, High Street, but an Atria Watford spokesperson said they are not aware of such plans at the moment.
It is known that Watford BID believes the GBK site is currently under offer and Chaiiwala has been contacted to see where it will possibly open.
Franchise director Nil Naik previously said: "As a South Asian street food provider with Western fusion, our food and drink offering resonates well with desi and ethnic demographic customers and our expansion plans centre around our aim to reach a wider audience.
"By opening bigger stores in new locations, we are confident that the brand will achieve a bigger reach and help more customers discover what we think is the best chaii in the UK.”
