Hundreds of runners will take to the streets this Sunday for the 40th Watford Half Marathon.
This year's event will begin and end in Cassiobury Park and a number of road closures will be in place for the duration of the race.
Streets on the Cassiobury estate in Watford, Langleybury, Sarratt, Chandler's Cross, and near Croxley Green will be affected.
Organisers say on the advice of police and Hertfordshire County Council, full road closures will be in place over the entire route to minimise traffic delays and keep competitors and race officials safe.
Residents and emergency services will still have access to affected roads.
The race begins on Sunday February 6 at 10.30am with road closures expected to be lifted by 2pm. People are being encouraged to cheer on runners taking part.
