A woman has been arrested as part of a murder investigation after a man was found dead inside a flat.
Vishal Gohel, 44, was found unresponsive inside a flat in High Street, Bushey, at the corner of Melbourne Road, at around 10.45pm on January 23.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and a murder probe was launched last Wednesday, following a post mortem.
Today (February 1) a woman, 20, was arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in police custody.
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins said: “Although an arrest has been made, we are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry and are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to contact us.
“I’d like to thank those who have come forward so far.
“Extensive enquires are being carried out to help establish the sequence of events before and after Vishal’s death.
“Specialist officers are continuing to support Vishal’s family and I would once again ask for their privacy to be respected.”
