Police have now revealed the name of a murder victim who was found dead inside a flat.

Vishal Gohel, 44, was found unresponsive inside a flat in High Street, Bushey, at the corner of Melbourne Road, at around 10.45pm on Sunday (January 23).

He was pronounced dead at the scene and a murder probe was launched on Wednesday night following a post mortem.

People living nearby say officers have been at the crime scene for the past few days.

Now police hope that anyone who has seen Mr Gohel between January 22 and January 23 to come forward.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with Vishal’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time. Specialist officers are supporting his family and I would ask for their privacy to be respected.

“Our investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances of Vishal’s death and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.”
