Bin collections won't be taking place as usual over the festive period with pick-up dates in Watford set to be later through most of January as well.
Watford Borough Council and its waste and recycling partner Veolia has released a calendar and information about when to expect your bins to be collected over the next few weeks.
There is information further below about bin collections in Three Rivers.
In Watford, the first thing to know is for the first two collections after Christmas, the council is allowing two extra bags of waste to be collected.
Residents are able to put out as much recycling as they like as long as it is in a clearly labelled or clear plastic bag.
In terms of when to expect your waste to be collected, between Monday December 27 and Friday January 21, it could be anywhere between one and five days later than the normal collection date.

Three Rivers district
Three Rivers District Council says there are no regular collections taking place on December 27 and 28 but two extra refuse bags will be collected on January 4 and 5 respectively.
The council says collections on December 29, 30, and 31 will take place on the normal day and no excess waste will be taken.
No brown bins will be collected up until January 8.
Collections following a bank holiday (Monday January 3) will take place a day later than usual.
