Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement on the new aim to offer all adults a booster vaccine before the end of December, see what is available in Watford.
From Wednesday, December 15 anyone over 18 can visit a walk-in clinic to receive their booster.
There are some walk-ins in Watford exclusive to specific age groups, including a 12 to a 15-year-old vaccine clinic where they can receive a Pfizer vaccine.
But you will need to now check ahead of venturing out as Watford clinics have announced that due to long queues some walk-ins in the region have been cancelled.
Watford Town Hall is also hosting a walk-in for the Pfizer vaccine with specific dates available for people aged 16 and over.
The dates the Town Hall is hosting include:
- Saturday, December, 18- 10am to 1pm
- Sunday, December 19 - 10am to 1pm
- Monday, December 20 - 10am to 1pm
- Tuesday, December 21 - 10am to 1pm
- Wednesday, December 22 - 10am to 1pm
- Thursday, December 23 - 10am to 2.30pm
- Wednesday, December - 10am to 1pm
- Thursday, December 30 - 10am to 1pm
Where to get a Covid Test:
If you're in need of a rapid Covid test following the sudden shortage on the Government website, then there are few pharmacies offering tests with no bookings required.
But you will need to note that those under 16 are not eligible for community rapid testing.
