If any putters are thinking about heading down to the brand-new mini golf venue in Watford, here is a look of what it is like inside.
Puttshack is opening its newest venue in the Atria Watford shopping centre extension this morning (December 1).
The company describes itself as "tech infused mini-golf", with its courses in the Watford branch featuring custom themed holes interactive leader boards.
We were invited down to take a look at the brand new venue prior to it officially opening to the public.
Inside, you will find lots of different themed holes, including one revolved around beer pong and another around snooker.
People will not need an pens or paper to count their score – the ball has certain technology so Puttshack’s servers can count your shots for you.
For anyone wanting a meal after a game, there is place inside the venue for putters to order food as well.
Hugh Knowles, managing director at Puttshack UK, said he is “very excited” that the venue is now open.
He said: “It’s been a long journey but we are super excited to get this across the line. We’ve got amazing staff, we have an amazing venue, fantastic technology, great bar and great food, so I am very excited that we have managed to get this all open.”
Mr Knowles added that this has taken 22 months to complete due to Covid lockdowns.
He said: “This has been a long time in the making, which is why we are even more excited to get this open.”
He added that the venue is expected to be “very very” busy and added that it is “close” to being sold out for Christmas.
