A pop-up ‘Healthy Hub’ will arrive in Watford this week and provide a range of NHS services.
The event has been designed with partners from Watford Council, NHS and Hertfordshire County Trust to bring together the community and voluntary sector under one roof.
The one-day hub will see GPs and health practitioners available to offer guidance on general health and advice on winter wellness.
The Covid and the booster jabs will also be accessible along with blood pressure checks and mental health support.
The drop-in service is free and residents do not need to have registered with a GP before or have an NHS number.
The hub will be held at North Watford Mosque from 10am-1pm on Saturday, November 13.
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “The Healthy Hub is here to provide essential winter wellness advice and support.”
"As we enter the winter months, residents are being encouraged to boost their immunity by taking up the evergreen offer of getting the Covid-19 vaccine - either their first, second, or booster jabs - so no one is left behind."
The pop-up hub is expected to move to various locations over the coming months.
