There is heavy traffic near Watford town centre after a crash.
Emergency services were called to a crash on Upton Road at 5.50pm today (September 27).
The road currently remains partially blocked as emergency services are in the area.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue say that their team attended a crash today to help a “casualty”, and left the person in the hands of the East of England Ambulance Service.
However the condition of the person is unknown and the ambulance service was contacted for further clarification.
According to an eyewitness, a black Fiesta was "spinning into a bollard" and it "narrowly missed a pedestrian walking by".
Hertfordshire Constabulary is expected to provide more information about what happened later.
Delays are stretching down to Stephenson Way, with heavy traffic heading to Junction 5 on the M1.
Images show at least two fire engines attended alongside the ambulance service and police.
More information to follow.
