A 62-year-old woman who was reported missing from Watford has been found safe and well.

Police launched a public appeal on Friday evening to find Diane, who was last seen leaving an address in the town just after 5am on September 22.

Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed the following day that she had been located.

A post on the force's Facebook page said: "We are pleased to share that Diane, who was reported missing from #Watford yesterday, has been found safe and well.

"Thank you to all those who shared our appeal to trace her."
