A fault on a train running between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey has caused cancellations and delays this morning (Monday).
National Rail has warned the issue, confirmed at 6.20am, will cause disruption until at least 10.30am with cancelled services replaced by buses.
Its website mesage says: "There is a fault on the train that runs between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey.
"As a result of this, trains between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey have been cancelled and will be replaced by buses until approximately 10:30."

Customers are being advised they can use tickets on Arriva The Shires bus route 321 between Watford Junction and St Albans.
"If you are travelling between Watford Junction and St Albans, you can travel via London Euston and London St Pancras International to St Albans City station," the message adds.
The latest live departures on National Rail show disruption to services until 3pm with part of journeys "likely to be by bus or coach".
