Hi, my name’s Milo and this is my girlfriend Jolene - someone was a Dolly Parton fan. We’re a pair of two-year-old bunnies looking for a home together. We came to the National Animal Welfare Trust recently when our owners’ circumstances changed.
We are inseparable and spend most of our time cuddled up together watching the world go by. If someone comes to say hello, I tend to come and greet them but Jolene may go and hide. She’s still getting used to being stroked but I try to show her everything is okay.
We don’t mind being groomed with either a grooming glove or a soft brush. And we love treats and having toys to chew on. We rabbits are active, intelligent animals who will suffer if bored so need enrichment activities that allow us to mimic our behaviour in the wild.
We’re house rabbits who need to live indoors as we like being warm and cosy with blankets and a soft bed to snuggle in. We’re comfortable with most everyday household noises although sudden loud noises do scare us.
We can live with adults or families with children of any age, as long as the grown-ups do the handling as Jolene can sometimes be a bit wriggly.
If you can give us a good home together, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) and arrange to meet us.
