A high performance car that police suspected had been stolen was brought to a stop with the help of armed officers.
Officers attempted to stop an Audi S3 on the M25 near Rickmansworth on Tuesday, September 7.
Police intelligence systems suggested the car, which has more than 300bhp, was suspected as stolen from another force area, Hertfordshire Constabulary said.
Specially trained Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit officers used specialist tactics to bring the vehicle to a safe and controlled stop in Chorleywood Road.
The BCH also tweeted that the armed policing unit for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire helped bring the car to a stop.
