An 89-year-old man is raising money by walking hundreds of laps to show his gratitude to the hospitals who recently cared for him during ill health.
Inspired by the late and great Captain Sir Tom Moore, George Morris is aiming to walk around 400 laps outside his home in Bushey Heath.
Mr Morris, who turns 90 later this month, wants to raise money for the NHS to as a show of thanks for the care he recently received at Watford General Hospital and University College Hospital in London.
So far, the keen photographer who was selling his photos in places like Portobello Road in London until he was 88, has raised nearly £500 thanks to support from family and friends, including his partner June and daughters Marcia and Jenny.
He began practising for his challenge in August with the challenge officially beginning on September 1. Mr Morris hopes to complete 40 laps a day over ten days.

On his Virgin Money fundraising page, which has a target of £1,000, Mr Morris wrote: "Thank you for your generous support. We're all proud of our NHS: the staff work incredibly hard to support us. Your money will help them to continue to support us when we need them the most.
"Please help me to raise as much as possible for our wonderful NHS, they look after us so well. Let's smash the target. Thanks a million."
