A man has been arrested after multiple reports of a 'flasher' in the area.
Police have received three reports between July 19 and July 27 of women being approached in Watford and Bushey by a man in a car, who made sexual comments before allegedly exposing himself.
At no time did the man exit the vehicle or follow the women further.
Investigations were in place to track the man following the reports.
It has now been revealed that on Monday (August 23), officers arrested a 37-year-old man from Amersham in connection with the investigation.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
PC Mark Emerson, who is investigating, said: “Although an arrest has been made, our investigations are continuing and we’re still keen to hear from anyone who may have information about these incidents.
“If you’ve been approached in similar circumstances, we’d also like to hear from you.”
