A motorist has been sentenced after hitting and seriously injuring two people at a petrol station in South Oxhey.
Jason Andrews had been driving his Mercedes in Prestwick Road when he turned into the forecourt of a Tesco Express Petrol Station on February 15.
But the 44-year-old had made the turn without checking the footway where two pedestrians were crossing at the time.
Stevenage Magistrates’ Court was told he hit and seriously injured them both.
Andrews, of Otley Way, Watford, pleaded guilty on August 19 to driving without due care and attention.
He was ordered to pay a £450 fine and £155 in costs.
He was also given nine points on his driving licence.
