There will be no trains running on a line for most of today, according to a railway operator.
London Northwestern has said its Abbey Line service, which runs between Watford Junction and St Albans, is currently suspended because of a shortage of crew.
The National Rail currently estimates that it will not be until 4pm today that trains will operating again.
However disruptions on the line have happened each day since Wednesday (August 18).
A new timetable was introduced in May 2021, but due the London Northwestern has recently dealt with a surplus of staff self-isolating due to Covid reasons, causing disruptions to travel.
Before the pandemic, over 100 extra drivers were recruited but their training has been delayed due to Covid restrictions, and it is estimated that the new train crew will not be qualified until up to a year.
Rail replacement buses are currently operating, and tickets can also be used on the Arriva bus route 321 (Arriva The Shires) between Watford Junction and St Albans.
You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today.
