Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following a crash involving a cyclist and a young child in Watford.
Between 6pm and 7pm on Friday 23 July, a six-year-old and a cyclist were involved in a collision in High Street near the Metro Bank.
The child required medical treatment after suffering a broken tooth and injured lip.
A Herts Police spokesman confirmed it has been reported the cyclist failed to stop at the scene.
PC Siobhan Gibson, who is investigating, said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following this incident.
“As part of enquiries we are looking to trace the cyclist in this image who was in the area at the time and could assist with the investigation.
“If this is you, or you recognise this person then please get in contact with us.
“If you are able to help I can be contacted directly via email at siobhan.gibson@herts.pnn.police.uk”
