A former care home is up for sale with an asking price of at least two million pounds.
The property in Kingsfield Road in Oxhey is currently empty but has the potential to be turned back into use within the care sector.
According to property website Rightmove, offers in excess of £2 million will be considered for the adjoining properties which now form one building.
It was most recently known as Hillside Rest Home, which according to Care Homes Online, had the capacity to house 26 elderly residents.
At its most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection in 2018, the home was rated overall as "good", but it was deregistered with the CQC last year.
Christie & Co, which describes itself as a leading specialist advisor for buying and selling businesses in a host of sectors - including care - is marketing the property.
On Rightmove's website, it states that the property, which appears to have been operating as a care home since at least 1982, has 22 bedrooms, including six which are en-suite.
The property website talks about the potential to convert the building into a specialist care home, while there is also the potential for supported living.
It also mentions the potential to convert the property into flats, but the listing is titled as a "healthcare facility" for sale.
An extract from the listing reads: "The property is located on residential road in Bushey, Watford. Located within 500 meters of Bushey railway station and local shops. The area is also easily accessed by the M25 London Orbital, M1 and A41.
"The former elderly residential care home has lots of potential uses within the care sector and could be repositioned as a specialist care home or supported living setting."
