A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Watford.
Emergency services were rushed to the town centre following the crash in Lower High Street around 6.50am this morning (Tuesday).
The East of England Ambulance service said the cyclist, an adult woman, was transported to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
“An ambulance, a senior paramedic in a support vehicle and a response vehicle from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended,” a spokesperson added.

Lower High Street remains closed between the junctions of New Road and Watford Field Road.
A spokesperson from Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Police were called at around 6.50am this morning (Tuesday 3 August) to reports of a collision in Lower High Street, Watford, involving a bus and a cyclist.
“Officers attended alongside the fire service and the ambulance service.
“A road closure was put in place to allow emergency services access and remains closed at this time.
“One person was taken to hospital for treatment.”
