Travellers have set up camp on land in Sarratt for a Christian festival, the Watford Observer understands.
A number of caravans were spotted on land in Bucks Hill by a member of the public around 7am on Sunday, July 25, and reported it to Hertfordshire Constabulary.
But the travellers do have permission to be on there.
The Observer understands the group, who are still on the field, has indicated to police they are there for a religious festival.
It is understood an event going ahead is the Light and Life convention, a Pentecostal Gypsy-led festival.
Police have previously told the Observer that they are continuing to monitor the travellers on the land.
This comes amid travellers also being spotted in Kings Langley Common last Sunday around 6.30pm, which is a 10-minute drive away from Bucks Hill.
The travellers had left the area around two hours later.
