A Northwood school will be hosting a pop-up coronavirus vaccination centre this week.
The Pfizer vaccination clinic will run from 1pm to 7pm on Thursday, July 29 at Merchant Taylors’ School and is for anyone aged 18 or over.
Appointments can be booked in advance or just turn up on the day. No ID is required and it is not necessary to be registered with a GP.
Both first and second jabs are being offered, but anyone attending to get a second dose must have received their first Pfizer dose at least eight weeks before.
The clinic has been organised by Three Rivers District Council in partnership with Herts Valleys CCG, Manor View Practice and Merchant Taylors’ School.
Cllr Sarah Nelmes, Leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: “So far we’ve administered over 180 vaccinations across our pop up vaccination sites and with the easing of restrictions it’s more important than ever we all play our part to protect ourselves and our loved ones, and help stop Covid spreading further.”
Ian Williams, Bursar at Merchant Taylors School said “We are delighted that Merchant Taylors’ School has this opportunity to support our local community. We enjoyed hosting the Hertfordshire Mobile Testing Team earlier this year and we are looking forward to supporting the vaccination programme.”
