A heatwave is on its way with plenty of sunshine and temperatures hitting 27C over the next couple of days and into the weekend.
Watford and nearby parts of Hertfordshire will be baking in heat as the Met Office is predicting highs 27C this weekend and prolonged sunshine.
On Thursday it will start off being mostly sunny and then by midday it will start to cloud over and remain cloudy for most of the day.
But on Friday things start to heat up with 25C forecast and sunny all day, a fine start to the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will see highs of 27C and consistent sun.
For the rest of July, temperatures are expected to remain high with very warm dry weather in store for us.
The Met Office said: “Temperatures are likely to be above average for much of this period, with an increased risk of some very warm or hot spells occurring.”
