THE NATIONAL ENERGY FOUNDATION
The National Energy Foundation is working alongside councils in Watford, Hertsmere, Three Rivers, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire to deliver local funding that will help residents make energy saving changes to help save money and improve warmth and wellbeing.
The Green Homes Grants Local Authority Delivery scheme was set up by the Government in line with their plan for a decarbonised future and offers low-income owner occupiers up to £10,000 and landlords up to £5,000 to install measures such as insulation and low -carbon heating upgrades to improve the energy performance of homes.
Dave Evans, CEO of the National Energy Foundation said: “Managing the local delivery of the Green Homes Grant is allowing the National Energy Foundation to help more households make energy-efficient changes to their homes. Through installations that are tailored to the individual property, we’re helping to create homes that are efficient all year round and have a positive impact on individuals and communities.”
If you’re a resident located in one of the council areas listed above and your household income is below £30,000*, the National Energy Foundation team can check your eligibility, assess what measures are best for your home and organise for an installer to implement them.
To speak to the National Energy Foundation team, call their free helpline on 0800 038 6030 from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday or email greenhomesgrant@nef.org.uk with your full name, address and phone number.

* It may also be possible for a household income to be in excess of £30,000 and still eligible for funding where the household composition means that incomes are stretched amongst many dependent children or household bills are particularly high.
