A man was stabbed in the leg after a fight at a property spilled out into the street.
Police were called to Balmoral Road in North Watford in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 4).
Officers arrived at around 2.20am after reports that an altercation had taken place between a group of a men at an address.
Police say one man sustained a stab wound to his leg and he was taken to hospital, where he remains at this time.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening.
One man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail.
Balmoral Road was taped off by police by the junction with Imperial Way and the street was still shut by the late morning with two officers guarding the scene.
The cordon stretched across Balmoral Road and into the entrance of Southfield Avenue, with at least two vehicles and a postbox caught inside the tape.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing to establish the circumstances around what happened.
